Special Educational Needs & Disabilities

 (SEND)

At Hoyle Court Primary School, we are proud to be an inclusive school, with the children at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every pupil with additional needs, special educational needs and /or a disability has an entitlement to fulfil their maximum potential. Hoyle Court Primary School has an intrinsic understanding that pupils with SEND are the shared responsibility of all staff including the governing body and the Senior Leadership Team.

We strive to identify need as early as possible to ensure the best possible provision can be put in place. All teachers are responsible for planning a differentiated curriculum to meet the needs of all our learners. A child or young person is deemed as having special educational needs if they have a learning difficulty/ disability which calls for special educational support and requires strategies which are additional to or different from their peers.

Should you have any concerns regarding your child or young person, please speak to the class teacher or contact myself, Laura Wilson on l.wilson@hoylecourt.bradford.sch.uk
