Hoyle Court Primary School is a wonderful school, filled with happy and hard-working pupils and staff. At Hoyle Court, we have a vision for every individual who crosses our path. We create a culture where everyone feels welcome, safe, secure and highly valued. It is our responsibility to embed core values in our pupils so they are equipped emotionally, morally and academically to contribute positively to our wider community and society at large. We have high expectations of learning behaviour for every child.

We offer a curriculum which motivates our children and ensures that they develop not only skills and knowledge but equally importantly, we develop every pupil as a happy and resilient individual who can make ‘good’ and well informed decisions. We aim to ensure that our children are prepared for anything and what they will need the most is a positive outlook and a brimming toolkit which they can employ to support them. Our curriculum is underpinned by the National Curriculum and the Foundation Stage Curriculum, but has an extra level of depth, meaning that Hoyle Court pupils get a great offer in our school. We love what we do and like to break the mould when providing learning experiences.

At Hoyle Court, our children will enjoy a wide range of experiences, including using and celebrating the outdoors, forest schools, residentials, brilliant beginnings, sport, music and much more. We know that these opportunities are essential to excite children about their learning and motivation is critical.
I have high ambitions and expectations for every pupil and will ensure inclusion and challenge for all. Academic outcomes and progress are important to us here and we continually develop and refine our curriculum ensuring it leads to success and progression for all. Inclusion is central to everything we do and wherever necessary, we make adaptations to ensure every child participates fully and succeeds. We break down barriers for pupils and enable achievement.

At Hoyle Court we want the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders and encourage intrinsic motivation so that every individual in our community is achieving their very best. Relationships are key and people are the power. We are so lucky to have great like-minded people here who are persistent in their endeavours to do the very best we can for every child.

As a school we make a commitment to our children:

  • We will nurture children’s self-esteem and enjoyment of school so they can all feel proud in achieving high standards and making progress in every part of life.
  • We will create a school where everyone is inspired to succeed and where all staff, pupils, parents and governors play a collective role in its successes, through shared responsibility and involvement.
  • We will develop learning which is engaging and meaningful and provide memorable experiences through learning, broader aspects of school life and developing children’s interest in the wider world.
  • We will support our school community and each other through our enthusiasm, compassion and through building trusting relationships where everyone feels supported and listened to.
  • We will ensure positive attitudes to learning are nurtured and children’s enquiring minds are challenged, inspiring them to become resilient and self-assured learners so they can be the best they can be.
  • We will lead by positive example through demonstrating the very best standards of conduct, moral purpose and integrity so everyone involved in our school feels valued and respected.
  • We will grow a safe and respectful environment where children are confident to make responsible choices, guiding them to grow into healthy, caring and productive citizens who are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
